Conference Breaks

Do your conference guests need to stretch their legs in between sessions? Or are they interested in some friendly 5K competition? Boost your group's energy, creativity and communication by touring Austin on foot. Let Coach Ashley guide a run or walk for your group around Lady Bird Lake, the Greenbelt, or outside your conference doors.

  • Guided Group Walks, Runs and Run/Walks - No better way to get to know a town than running through it! Explore the stunning Lady Bird Lake, the dozens of Greenbelt trails or take to the pavement by your conference. Guided walks and runs include: a proper warm-up and cool-down led by coach; routes organized for walkers, beginners and intermediate levels (including pace leaders); hydration station at Start/Finish and along course, if necessary;First Aid Kit and CPR/First Aid certified staff member; Route Maps  
  • Wake-Up Power Walk - The Wake-Up Power walk is the perfect way to see the beautiful sites of Austin while getting your exercise. Your personal trainer tour guide will take your group on an exhilarating trek through the area of your choosing incorporating simple exercises movements and stretches during the walk. Walks are generally 2 miles long but can be arranged for any distance.
  • Stretch Breaks - Important meetings all day? Stretch breaks are a great idea to get the group moving and motivated. Coach Ashley will guide your group through a series of simple and fun stretches and body weight exercises.

  • Join any scheduled ACT Running session! Groups of 8 more receive a 40% discount.  Access to a private company online training website/plan.  Participants have in person and online assistance from Coach Ashley.
  • Offer Private 8 week  "Become a Runner" sessions for your group. Coach Ashley guides your group through safe and effective warm ups, leads group walk/runs. Over the course of 8 weeks, your team will be ready to complete a 5K/10K of your choosing. Participants have in person and online assistance from Coach Ashley.
  • Lunch Break Away   - Coach Ashley can come to your place of business and lead inclusive body weight exercises and/or group walks & runs, including weekly health topic discussions.
  • Goal Race Training/Group Challenges - Wish to ignite your team with some friendly competition?  Individuals or teams log their workouts/miles on a private website. Includes Intro and Wrap up sessions, online review of participants/goals, and medals for participants.

  • Treasure Hunts - If ye seek a time unique with clues and maps sometime this week, then call upon the puzzle master to test whom among you can solve them faster; and lo, you'll find, that your good crowd, is joyful, bonded, and boastfully proud. 
  • Photo Scavenger Hunts - Can your team manage to take a photo of a coffee shop employee in a company hat? Find the giant anchor? Are they clever enough to photograph 16 topics with just 10 pictures? The hunt is on in this outrageous foot race! Each team receives a program kit including instructions, list of photo specifications, a map and more.  Event includes host/staff, hydration station, awards and Time: 1 ½ hours
